Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. She was born on the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the full name given to her parents. Lennox had studied for three year in the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s was accepted. She was able to survive on her student stipend and work part-time jobs. Lennox believed that her abilities weren't as good as those of the Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative options she could pursue. Lennox began her career in 1976 as a member of a band called Dragons Playground. The group did not make it to the talent competition New Faces on I.T.V. From 1977 until 1980, she was the lead vocalist for The Tourists, a British pop group. That was also where she met Dave Stewart with whom she will form her pop group Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her solo debut album Diva and it was released in 1992. The album received a lot of praise both from critics and the public. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album was released in November 2014. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top jazz, blues and soul songs. Additionally, in May 2019, Lennox has released Lepidoptera which is a compilation of four piano pieces that she improvised. The E.P. The E.P. is her first independent album and a companion to her art work created at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let you Go... Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer and songwriter who was born on the 25th of December 1954. The Tourists gained some minor recognition for her and Dave Stewart's work throughout the 1970s. They went on, through the 1980s to become the popular duo Eurythmics. In 1992, Lennox launched a solo career, releasing the release of her first album Diva which yielded numerous successful tracks, including Why and Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa the album she released in 1995 has cover versions of songs like No MoreI Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. She has six solo studio albums, as well as one compilation album.
